Sashimi's sire, Dill's BF Diamond Rio *B was a outstanding buck, with two daughters who are finished champions and who have received the Superior Genetics designation. One of his daughters has also consistently placed in the top ten at the ADGA National Championships.

Her dam, Anatawa was appraised once, as a yearling. At that appraisal, the ADGA appraiser noted that she was a "very promising young doe." Anatawa comes from show ring royalty. Her dam, Japanese Washi is the daughter of the ADGA National Champion Doe, GCH Buttin'Heads Paperclip 2*M. Washi and her daughters have also excelled at the national level, recently winning Reserve Best Udder in her class at the 2017 Nationals and winning the Dam & Daughter Class against extremely tough competition.

Sashimi is a visible improvement over her dam, with smoother blending from her neck into her withers, and a more desirable shape to her rear udder when viewed from the side. She is taller at the withers than the hips and has a long bone pattern. She has a lean and elegant neck that blends smoothly into her withers, has good extension to her brisket, and her legs are squarely set under her body. She has very good angularity and openness and is free from excess fleshing or coarsness. In a line that tends to be small, Sashimi is a more competitive size as a yearling than her dam or sister were at the same age.

Sashimi recently delivered three kids (2 does, 1 buck) in a textbook, unassisted kidding. She has a beautiful, well-attached, easy-to-hand milk udder. She is milkstand trained and a good mom.
